Now, board-certified healthcare providers are available to provide care wherever and whenever you need it, right from the comfort of your own mobile device or computer. Our services cover a wide range of healthcare needs, from common concerns like coughs and sore throats to minor skin irritations and joint pain. With our convenient virtual platform, you can access both adult and pediatric care teams for urgent clinical care needs, all on your own schedule and in just about 10 minutes!

What's more, our virtual visits may even be more affordable compared to other care options, such as urgent care clinics or emergency rooms.

Getting started is simple. Just download the app, register, and select a provider with a quick click.

Once you've selected a provider, the online communication will begin shortly thereafter! Through the Penn State Health OnDemand app, our telehealth providers will conduct a diagnosis, offer follow-up care recommendations, and if necessary, prescribe medication.

We believe in providing healthcare that meets you where you are and at your convenience, helping you feel better and return to your life sooner.

The Penn State Health OnDemand telehealth program can be utilized for a variety of common symptoms and concerns:

 <li>Cough</li>
 <li>Eye infections</li>
 <li>Joint pain or strains</li>
 <li>Lower back pain</li>
 <li>Minor rashes and skin concerns</li>
 <li>Painful urination</li>
 <li>Sore throat</li>
 <li>Stuffy and runny nose</li>
</ul>

Please note that our telehealth program may not be suitable for all concerns. The following symptoms should be addressed in-person at the nearest emergency room:

<ul>
 <li>Assault, physical or sexual abuse, or child abuse</li>
 <li>Changes in mental status or confusion</li>
 <li>Chest pain or pressure</li>
 <li>Coughing or vomiting blood</li>
 <li>Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath</li>
 <li>Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea</li>
 <li>Sudden dizziness, weakness, change in vision, slurred speech, numbness, or other neurological changes</li>
 <li>Sudden or severe pain</li>
 <li>Uncontrolled bleeding</li>
</ul>

If you use Apple Health, you have the option to share your health information with the provider during your virtual video visit. This includes data such as heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, blood glucose levels, weight, nutritional information, and respiratory rate.
